Best Airport I Have Ever Been To

All Awesome But Bags
This has to be the best airport in every respect (transport, stores etc.) except they handle bags extremely slowly! When connecting they were so slow the bags didn't make the flight.

Schiphol Airport - Amsterdam
This is a city within a city: airport terminal, train terminal, restaurants, flower shop, and gift shops, and within walking distance of tourist spots like the museums and the Anne Frank house. And, it has the best feature I've seen offered in an airport -- private shower and bathroom rental. They're quite large and nicely stocked with fresh clean towels, shampoo, soap, hair dryers, and mirrors with decent lighting for doing your makeup. If you've just come from an overnight train ride and have yet to fly back to the US, it's the best $11 you can spend before leaving Europe!

Very Very Beautiful
I recently visited Schiphol Airport and it was my 10th trip to AMS. Believe me it is very beautiful. I always love being there.

No Subway?
This is a really surprising discussion, there is a large train station below the airport with regular trains to the city centre, connecting to the metro system with several points. Also high speed trains stop here to France and Germany. Although the airport is large (4th in Europe), there is one terminal only. No, there are no shuttles, there are moving sidewalks everywhere. I have been to many airports in the world and this is one of the best connected ones ever!
