Indira Gandhi Airport is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi who was the only woman to have ever held office in India and was the second longest serving Indian Prime Minister of all time, until she was assassinated in 1984.

It’s the best since they have everything at the right place the restaurants, etc. in case a flight gets late there are well maintained rooms!!!!! So I would just say it is well made and in a perfect location..
Best indian airport
I would definitely give my nod to the I G international as being the best. The food joints, the space provided and the system of collecting the baggage is far better than in many other places, the waiting time is definitely less. People working there are very courteous, there is no confusion and one would not hesitate sitting for long hours in the lounge.
Ah Delhi ...
I have been through T3 and found it to be of top class! Truly international amneties with Indian hospitality. very smooth operation with lots of options to shop! Also T1 which mostly caters to domestic flights is also pretty decent, as it used to be the international terminal before T3 came into play. You wont be disappointed in either of those.
If you are an international tourist, would suggest you take a prepaid cab from inside the airport.

Simply The Best
I find Delhi the best when compared to Spain, Athens, Mauritius, Tokyo, Amsterdam. As I have seen these airports but DEL infrastructure amazed me and the services, lounges, cafes etc are all fantastic.

I have been there first time and the experience was very good. If we talk about the staff and the services all were excellent. I really want to see DEL airport in the list of top airports of the world.

I visited this airport few days ago and I was shocked to see that remarkable infrastructure. I have visited the airports of Paris but Indias airport facilities are far better.
Terminal 3 Of Delhi Airport
I have recently visited terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is one of the finest and biggest airports of India and top listed airport of the world. Staff are very friendly. I just love to go there. It’s the best since they have everything at the right place the restaurants, etc. In case a flight gets late there are well maintained rooms! So I would just say it is well made and in a perfect location. The airport is pretty nice it’s said to be the best around the world as it comes up.
