Singapore Changi Airport or simply Changi Airport is located in the eastern region of Changi and it’s the busiest airport in Singapore, registering 51 million passengers in 2012. The Changi Airport has received around 390 awards in the last three decades, including 23 ‘Best’ awards in 2011. The airport also has a rooftop swimming pool in open air and a Jacuzzi at Terminal 1.

I visited Changi Airport in 2012 when I returned from Manila; it is the best airport that I’ve been to. Complete with all modern facilities, it is so clean, friendly, well-designed and luxurious. I always have a good memory of Changi Airport!
Changi airport is the best
I’ve been to quite a lot of countries all over the world including their airports and none I could say, NONE can ever be compared to changi. It is the best airport ever which is saying a lot since like I’ve said before, I’ve been to many of them. Very comfortable, very clean, lots and lots of stores, plenty of eateries, good service, and so much more good stuffs that will take me a long time to write all down. Simply the top and I hope all other airports can be as good someday.
Staff In Departing Areas
We get tired in our trips thus it would help to find staff trying to be respectful and friendly. A smile would not hurt.

World's Best Airport
Okay, I haven’t been to all the airports in the world but I’ve been to over 50 in the last year or so including a number of other large hubs. Changi is incomparable. Designers of new airports around the world should have compulsory Changi studies to see how an airport needs to be designed to work best for passengers.
Fun And Flight Bundled In One Excellent Airport!
Changi airport is a showcase of Singapore’s efficiency and continuous drive to re-invent itself. It’s clean, safe, very efficient and offers a lot to its passengers and visitors. It’s always a joy to land in this airport, and i am still awed on how they manage this place! It offers a WIFI, HD TVs while waiting for your flight, a wide array of shops, restaurants, payphones which does not need coins to call locally, drinking fountains, many clean toilets, lounges, sitting areas, a train that connects the 3 terminals, taxis, I can go on mentioning what’s so good about this airport! One comment though, the immigration officers should smile more often, they can be quite intimidating. Changi deserves the top airport award every year.
Changi
Visited recently the Changi Airport after going through Hong Kong and then Beijing Capitol Airport. But SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT is ULTIMATE in itself. It was my 1st trip to Changi and I regret that I delayed so much in visiting Changi and Singapore as well. Amazing. Best of Luck.

Cleanliness
in Changi is excellent, the whole airport was spotless when we passed through in December 09 and January 2010, a 7 hour stop in the airport passed effortlessly, with free wifi and a mass of shops to peruse. I must complement the staff, especially the cleaners in the toilets which are immaculately kept and cleaned even before you have finished washing your hands. Worth 5 stars.
Changi Airport
Well, what I can say? I was visited 91 countries in this world and only 46 time to Singapore. The only thing I can say I have never seen any air port like Singapore nowhere in the world – so lovely, nice and peaceful.
Smokers And Gum Lovers Beware!
Good, clean, modern, but a bit on the fascist side. Kind of like Singapore itself! I suppose that’s the price for keeping the airport so lovely and pristine (even if ironically, it’s code is SIN). Definitely one of the nicest I’ve seen, with lovely transit areas. The airport has lounges with top-class 24 hour napping areas, showers and spa facilities, as well as hotel and pool amenities. Shopping is a delight, but can put a dent in the wallet, so beware. Still, if only there was a room set aside for us smokers…

Re Changi Airport
My husband and I arrived at Changi Airport in October 1999 and had already been informed by his brother how beautiful and clean the airport was. When we arrived we could only agree how right he was. Not only the airport but the streets around Singapore were a joy to walk on (NO AWFUL CHEWING GUM). Keep up the good work. We are returning again this October 2006 as a foursome and look forward to visiting Singapore once more and enjoying the lovely city.
