Wow! What An Airport!
OK, so 2010 Soccer came and went but Wow did it leave one of the most beautiful airports in the world! Squeaky clean, easy to find your way around and the staff are an absolute pleasure to deal with….. the smiles that are abound. Good work Cape Town… keep it up and you’ll long be remembered by whom ever passes through you!
Ct International Is Great!
We flew from Cape Town to Dubai and back and had a great experience at the airport. It was clean, organized and friendly. Flight left on time and also arrived on time. The airport is a fantastic building.
Construction Issues
I was surprised by the small size of CPT. There is only one jet runway with a smaller intersecting runway for prop planes. The terminal is in the throes of construction for World Cup 2010 – this is probably their excuse for the lack of signs to inform/direct the traveler. I did not see any signs of runway/taxiway construction. People were friendly.
Cpt
Cape Town International is a smaller airport than you would expect its probably a 1/4 of the size of Johannesburg but i think everything is well laid out and the staff are very friendly and international and domestic depatures and arrivals..
Why is Cape Town abbreviated as CPT instead of CT???
CPT is the abbreviation for captain 👨✈️ 🤷🏻♀️
