A great airport - if you compare it with Manila, Caracas, Cotonou Airport, Benin, Heathrow or other third world disgraces. The security guards are particularly irritating and lacking in common sense here - even by the low standards set in the UK generally. Clean and modern but they've started the Heathrow trick of making you walk long convoluted pedestrian routes around what is basically a small terminal. Good shopping selection and some shops which don't overcharge compared to the High Street; eg Boots the Chemist and Greggs the bakers. Rip-off parking as usual.

Glasgow Airport
I have always used Glasgow Airport to travel abroad and visit parts of the UK. Also to pick up family and friends who always come when its raining in Glasgow, to which I say welcome to sunny Glasgow. I have found the staff very friendly and helpful. They have a good range of shops for last minute gifts .
