Nice People
A Great Little Airport
The reason I call this a "little" airport is due to it being small in size, but it does lend to it’s "old world" like charm. I really like it as you don’t need to walk for miles upon miles from deplaning to get to the car rental agent. When you arrive and/or depart you use the tall stairs. The airport is small in size so don’t expect to do a lot of last second shopping and there is only one bar. If your flight departs in the early hours of the morning the shop/s are closed – so be prepared. A few car rental agents are right in the airport like – Avis, Budget and Dollar, Alamo uses a courtesy shuttle located right out-front and just goes across the highway. The airport is clean, safe, bright, cheerful and quite modern.
What I recently experienced…. Restaurant and bartender at the upstairs location and post security were the nicest people ever! When you go try the "Cuban", it’s the best!
