Baltimore–Washington International Airport, or more commonly known as BWI or BWI Marshall, was named after a Baltimore native that was the first African American that served on the Supreme Court of the US. The airport, that ranked the best of its size in 2010, handled more than 22.5M passengers and had an average of 734 daily operations, 93% of these being commercial flights, in 2012.
