Located in Missouri, Lambert–St. Louis International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in the state having handled more than 13M passengers on 190,000 flights in 2012.

Formerly known as Kinloch Field. Lambert–St. Louis International Airport was originally a ballon launching base back in the 1890’s.

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is owned by the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority and is based in Sarasota County, Florida. The airport moved sites back in 1945 and ‘National’ were the first airline to make use of the new SRQ airport, by 1957, the airport intelligence company OAG, reported six NA departures per day; Eastern Airlines then arrived at SRQ in 1961.

During the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Centre, Air Force One were at SRQ, Bush immediately returned to the airport after hearing the news and flew to Louisiana.
