Dubai International Airport is the main international airport hub for Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dubai Airport is based in the Al Garhoud district which is just 2.5 miles (4km) northeast of Dubai. 2012 was a particularly busy year, by increasing passenger traffic 13.2% they became the 10th busiest airport in the world.
