In 2012, Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport became the 49th busiest airport in the world with almost 30 million passengers flying from or to the airport. Bao’an Airport was formerly known as Shenzhen Huangtian Airport as it is based near the villages of Huangtian and Fuyong which are both within the Bao’an District of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
Shenzhen Airport was first opening on October 12th 1991 and currently maintains three terminals for two runways.
