Flying into 2014

Quick Recap:

Last year was a massive year for World Airport Codes (WAC) and the team.

2013 saw an increase in the number of airports on our database, with more airports still to be added. WAC Mobile Apps were developed and released for all Android and iOS devices. Top Airports lists and other details were updated and/or built on. Features were enhanced. Facebook and Twitter accounts were created and maintained. And returning visitors to the site would of course already have noticed the complete overhaul to the website’s design:

We’ve kept that motivation to improve WAC over the Christmas holidays and all came back into work, full of energy and ideas, ready to continue with our plans.

 What to expect in 2014?

We’re still working towards creating great and informative guides on useful local services, such as; Taxis, Hotels, Car Hire and Airport Parking from all major airports around the world.

Both our Los Angeles Taxis & Heathrow Taxi pages are currently in progress and will soon be finalised. Once completed and live, we begin on another location or two and so on.

We are also still trying to improve the functionality of the site further. By increasing the page load speed, tweaking the layout and improving the information we’re sure that we can make your (and our) experiences with World Airport Codes even better!

This blog will always be kept up to date as well, with all of our (and aviation or airports in general) latest and most exciting news… So, don’t leave luggage unattended and be sure to check-in with us again soon.
