Surat Airport
Functional no frills airport, never crowded due to small number of flights, easy transport into Surat town via mini bus taxi outside terminal (half hour). Air lines using Surat are Thai, One2Go and AirAsia....AirAsia most convenient from Bangkok if you are flying into the international (Bumiphol). Thai and One2Go fly from the old airport (Don Meung) which entails a trip across the city for new arrivals. Not a problem if you are already in Bangkok. Restaurant, couple of shops, clean toilets, public phones, WI-FI, ATM's. Perfectly functional regional airport....no problems to report after many journeys through, except possibly transport links other than Suratthanni....All public transport goes via Surat/Phunpin (rail station).
