Ovda Airport
Manchester to Ovda via Luton charter January 2006. The Airport in the middle of the Negev Desert was and still is shared as a military airport with Israeli army camps in the vicinity. Basic facilities with a small duty free area. Nothing nearby - most people go 30 miles south to the Israeli Holiday resort of Eilat or those on pilgrimages 150 miles plus north to the Dead Sea and Northern Israel. The location on your map is too far north
