In general, I have always had to cross through Pearson International wherever I am flying to within Canada. I have seen the changes in the airport as early as 1992 to present date and, unlike others who have commented on services at the airport, have had absolutely no issues with staff, facilities and venues within the airport. In my opinion, the airport is strong and vibrant. It caters to its passengers and provides the highest quality safety and quality standards. If an opportunity arose to work at Pearson International I would be proud of my place of work and the quality services within.

I don't agree with any of the positive comments on Lester Pearson Airport. I have had the misfortune of flying through that dismal facility over the last 15 years, which I try to minimize as much as I can. It is extremely disorganized (one step up from Lagos Airport), their customer service desks could care less how to help being too interested in chatting among themselves, luggage trollies that cost $2 to rent that only return you 25cents (which explains why they are abandoned all over the place because it is next to impossible to locate a return queue that would give you back that miserly 25cents), no eateries for late night arriving flights, a fortune on taxi to get to downtown Toronto, long corridors to walk without aid of moving lanes...oh yea, I will slit my wrist before transiting through LBP again. It's the worst international airport in Canada. Vancouver and Calgary are SO much better, even Ottawa's small facility.

I fly out of here all the time. I love it. I worked for customs for 2 years out of T1. I got few complaints from passengers (not about my work but the airport). I gave hand outs of my toonies for those who did not have them few times a week. If you come unprepared don't be afraid to ask for help, there are good people in this world. I now currently work for airlines, so I fly out of YYZ even more often. It's one of the best airports out there in my opinion. When they get T2 rebuilt perhaps people will stop complaining about the monorail. Either that or more people will go to Billy Bishop after the tunnel completion but regardless where you go... YYZ is there to stay and does not need your business... they have enough yearly passengers to cover your $, and it's growing.

We departed on Feb 230,2011 and needed wheelchair services. It was a nightmare! After having to wait at least 20 minutes for a person to help with a wheelchair or golf cart, I was left alone in the second level and had to find my own way to the gate! The return was even worse. I was picked up at the plane by a Muslim lady with a head scarf who pushed me maybe 2 ft., and then radioed her male counterpart to push me because she couldn't do it! (I weigh 130lbs.) Again we waited for the man for about 15 minutes. In the meantime the rest of the family had left and we missed the shuttle. I told the woman that if she couldn't push the chair she should not have that job!!!! She then became verbally abusive to me. Your people spend more time filling out the yellow forms and chatting with each other then they do customer service

One of the best airports that I've been to. Very large, clean and modern.
