Basankusu 2007
I visited in 2007. The condition of the airstrip remains stable. It is free from grass and other such overgrowth. It's a graveled surface - no tarmac or concrete. There are more and more flights from Kinshasa as stability returns to the country. It remains an important conduit for vital supplies.
