Waterbury-oxford Airport
All around a very good airport with the second longest runway in CT. Air traffic is a mix of single and multi-engine piston plus jet aircraft with intense flight training operations.

OXC has ILS,LOC and GPS instrument approaches to Runway 36 as well as an NDB and GPS approaches to Runway 18.

This state owned and operated airport is one of the best cared for airports in CT and is located 15 minutes or less from the towns of Waterbury, Southbury and Oxford.

The only down side is the lack of competitive fuel prices. The sole source of fuel (AVGAS and JET-A) is above the Northeast average and above most all of CT in fuel prices.
