Concourse B Is A Rat Hole
Since I had a longer layover, I was able to venture out of Concourse B to eat and take in some of the better features at IAH. Concourse B isn't one of them. It needs to be torn down and a new Continental concourse built. It's confusing, the a/c is inadequate (in Texas, of all places!), it's dark and there aren't nearly enough seats. Because it's a huge Continental hub, it's a very busy concourse, and the facilities are simply not adequate. The restrooms were clean, so I'll give them snaps for that, but the concourse is a pit, as a whole. I sat in the hall on the floor for over an hour, waiting for someone to make up their minds about which gate my flight would leave from, and hoping someone in the gate area would leave on a flight so I could sit in a chair.

Impression About The Airport
It is not only huge, but excellent signage made it easy for first timers like us very easy to find our way to baggage and other places within the airport. It was our first visit to the US and with lot of temerity we undertook the travel. The staff at the airport were very courteous and helpful. The queues at Immigration counters were orderly and staff have quickly completed their checking and we were out all in about 20 minutes after a long journey of about 28 hours.

Amazing!!!
I travel through this airport about 4 times a week on work and not once have I had any problems, lost of room don't feel crowded even on a busy day. Signs are very clear so if you get lost you obviously have a bad memory or can read so you won't get lost and lots of good Texas women.

Very Good
KIAH is absolutely HUGE!!! We had to take an indoor tram for about 15 minutes just to travel to an outdoor tram (it took about 10 minutes) just to reach our terminal! However, the staff at the airport are very helpful, they'll actually guide you and go with you to your terminal. It's amazing to think that they were still extending and modifying it in November. It's a big airport, but it has a fantastic staff and inner transportation!

General
Continental Airlnes have their headquarters there as well as a huge hub. They just built a new terminal with all the bells and whistles...very nice.
