The Airport In General
When you compare Birmingham to other major airports, there isn't much to compare. It's a small one. Very easy to get around. They only few problems. Leaving the parking deck (either in a rental or personal) is confusing. The lanes after you exit are not very well marked. If you don't pay attention, you can end up circling the terminal. Also, it can take what seems like an eternity to get your luggage. But most of the time the people that work there are friendly and helpful. Since there only two concourses, it's not that difficult to navigate.
