LBA
I travelled from LBA to SSH in November. The first time I have flown from LBA and I have to say it will be my last. The airport isn't the easiest of places to get to (even though I live in South Leeds) as it's all A and B roads. It's actually as quick from South Leeds to go to Manchester as it is to get to LBA. Facilities are very poor at the airport, there aren't many shops and there is very little choice in the shops you do have. There are very little seating areas when are sitting and waiting. If you are unfortunate and are travelling at the same time as a PIA flight don't expect to visit the loo as it's full of people washing their feet in the sinks - the floor ends swimming and is a health and safety hazard. In future I will travel from Manchester, even if it does cost a few pounds more.

Very Quiet
I both work at and fly from LBA. It is a very nice and quiet airport, their lack of inter-continental flights is sometimes a problem, but there are regular flights to hub airports such as LHR and AMS from LBA so it is a great place to fly from.

Good Regional Airport
I am Finnish and I live in Leeds and am very impressed with LBA. Flights are not as common as they are from LHR or MAN but it is a great airport to fly from as it is a lot quieter and a lot less stressful. Now if only they did flights to Finland!
