Only a few charter flights operate during the summer months. The main trade here are C-130`S, Tristars, 747`s, E-3 sentrys from various air forces, and civilian operators. Private flying is on the up here with fixed-wing and rotory-wing training also being provided.
During the airshow season fast jets of the RAF operate from here to display at the near by Duxford airshows, in the past these have included: Tornados, jaguars, and harriers. Other visitors in resent years have included: AN-124, C-17, VC-10, and even had a resident Hawker Hurricane during 2000.
