Good For The Anatolian Side
If you live or work on the Anatolian side of Istanbul then SAW is very convenient. Probably for international flights you won't get an option - national carriers come in to Ataturk, budget airlines to SAW - but if you are booking an internal flight and your address is on the Anatolian/Asian side of the city you should always prefer SAW. International travellers should be aware that the facilities are very basic, don't expect to eat here or do much shopping.
