Mtwara Airport
The airport is, as you would expect, very small. The positives are that the staff are all very friendly and you can get a nice cold beer while you wait (and boy do you wait) for your flight. The negatives have to do with the airlines rather than the airport itself. Air Tanzania and Precision Air operate between Mtwara and Dar and delays are frequent and lengthy. Terrific cashews in the airport shop.
