Poor Service
Kilimanjaro International Airport
Kilimanjaro International Airport offers all the services you would expect to find at any major airport, handled with pleasantly surprising friendliness and professionalism.
The airport estate extends to 110 sq kms, a significant proportion of which has been zoned for planned, environmentally sensitive, development.
The airport was privatised in 1998 and is operated by KADCO, a private limited company with shares held by the Government of Tanzania, InterConsult (a private Tanzanian Civil Engineering company); Mott MacDonald Ltd from the UK and an Investment Bank from South African.
It is quicker and easier to fly direct to the Game Reserves of Tanzania via Kilimanjaro than Nairobi.
