The Perfect Small Business Airport
Geneva airport is small but has a wide variety of international destinations. Truly Swiss in its organisation it is actually possible to check in at the last minute and still make it to the gates. It is particularly child-friendly as they have a wonderful nursery with games, books and take-away toys on the 1st floor. Furthermore if you fly with most airlines you can actually check-in 24hrs in advance leaving your luggage there and then simply turn up to the gate on the day you fly. Souvenirs are as usual more expensive than downtown with the exception of tobacco and spirits. Note that with recent security restrictions the queues at the X-ray machines have gotten a little longer, especially if flying to the USA.
