Transportation
A small but nice airport. For out-of-towners, the airport is located a 15-minute ride south from the city and there are a couple of ways to arrange for transport from the airport:
- Airport bus (about €4 one way) - stops at, or very near, all major hotels in the city.
- Taxi (about €20-30 one way) - remember to call the local taxi company (+46-910-17000) and order a taxi IN ADVANCE if you need it quickly! In general, there are no taxis waiting at the airport and there can be quite a long wait to get one..)
- Car rental - all major car rental companies have booths in the airport arrival hall.
- Hitch a ride - ask any of the locals that are there to pick up relatives if they have room in their car:-). Usually, the locals are very nice and helpful.
