Belgrade Airport
The airport at Belgrade is currently a small one. Just under three million passengers cannot provide future development of perfect position. Serbian economy with poor strategy have no hope to develop this top position to serve up to fifteen million passengers or more in transit as HAB. Local politicians acting as feuds without hope, lost in demagogy. Foreign
investors have only little hope for future of this prime airport.

Very Fast Service
After recent renovation, this airport is one of the most efficient in the region. Compared to its previous shape and form, all aspects are significantly better. Check-in lines are never longer than 10 minutes, even during busiest times. It takes no more than 20 minutes from touch-down, to your rental car (including passport control, luggage pick-up and customs). Most importantly, there are young, smiling faces that welcome you at the passport and customs checkpoints. The only gripe I have is that there still are smoking areas in the departure lounge. Perhaps, some day in the future, smoking will be banned from the building(s) and our lungs would be spared...

Airport Belgrade is recently changed its name to Nikola Tesla airport. It's located about 20km from Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, near Belgrade's suberb Surchin. Airport is middle-size airport, runway is 12/30. It serves as home base for JAT Airways and Aviogenex charter comany. Other companies often seen at Belgrade Airport are Lufthansa, Aeroflot, CSA, British Airways and Montenegro Airlines.
