The arrival lounge is magnificent with white marble, fountains and palm trees. The departure lounge is horrendous. There was neither soap nor paper towels in the washrooms where general hygiene left a lot to be desired. Most time is spent in the departure lounge and not in arrivals. My visit was 4 years ago and I can only hope that things have improved. The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not a tourist paradise - entry is by invitation only. Photographs are not available because the authorities are somewhat sensitive.
