Nice Renovated Airport
Horta Airport, Faial Island (Azores), is adequate for its traffic. You can get to Horta by taxi in 10 min for just 10 Euro. It has a couple of shops and rent-a-car's, both international and local, and a few check-ins. You can find a bar at the terrace which also has a nice view over the runway and the Atlantic Ocean.
When landing, if you're in a A320 (the biggest that lands at HOR), seat back, relax, and enjoy the strong emotion of landing here.
