Iquitos Airport (iqt)
I recently flew in and out of IQT. Airport faciltiies are rather average given the large number of foreign visitors. The main issue is is the operating times. Due to large numbers of vultures resting and feeding near the airport (it is near the city's garbage dump) there is a danger of bird strike. The aiport is therfore closed between 9am and 6pm until they solve the issue of the vultures.
