Update On Bunsil
Bunsil airstrip is NE of Siassi airstrip. Bunsil is situated next to the main government station on the island. It has been closed due to administrative neglect and cooperation within the different arms of the government mechanism. Further compounding this isolation is the fact that there is no road linkages between Bunsil and other areas of the island. Roads and temporary bridges built during the time of the timber company's presence have all since deteriorated.
