Islamabad Airport
OMG, I agree with all of you. I have been twice myself. I can still remember the first time I went it was horrible the building is just tacky. The Rest rooms are just horrendous. And the beggars outside, I know it is a poor country but seriously they should have some security there. And those weird baggage people who follow you around offering help in return for money.

Islamabad Airport
I am struck by the greedy manner in which the workers at the airport demand payments for what is supposedly a free service. This includes staff escorting disabled people, the baggage assistants, and all other staff at the airport including the security etc...a thoroughly poor reflection of Pakistan by this tiny greedy bunch of people. The airport needs to stamp this out and do it now, as it is debasing the experience of travel to Pakistan. I understand that these people have to pay large sums of money to secure jobs in the airport due to the lucrative paybacks.

Unfair Processing
My last visit almost pushed me over the edge when we were standing in line for 45 minutes and one police guy brought his friends over to the front of the line for passport processing. Not cool.

Lack Of Clean Restrooms
I am a Pakistani American. I was born and raised in Islamabad. Though Islamabad is a very beautiful city, its international airport is absolutely not reflective of a Nuclear Power Pakistan. I frequently visit Islamabad, Pakistan but feel ashamed every time at the current despicable condition of the airport. Airport is lacking international standard. Last time when I visited Islamabad I had to use the restrooms at airport. Probably that was the worst experience ever at Islamabad international airport. Restrooms are always gross. Airport management needs to install American style seat toilets not the traditional form of sit-down toilets we see in various cities of Pakistan. Water is always overflowing from various tanks, pipes and hoses. Never find any paper towels and toilet papers. In summary, restrooms are very unhygienic. Moreover, the airport has become so overcrowded over the years that passengers often don't find enough seats. We need a new, bigger, state of the art, beautiful airport that would represent capital of Pakistan.

Islamaba Airport
I am a regular user of this airport. This is not a sort of commercial airport. Basically it is an air force base and only a small building serves the purpose of a normal airport. A new airport for the capital city is under construction near Islamabad that will be the state of the art airport with all modern facilities. Unfortunately the airport is not being cared of much due to the construction of new larger airport in Islamabad.
