Nelson Airport New Zealand
Nelson is a regional airport mainly taking Saab 340s and Dash 8 aircraft. No regular jet movements. Mainly one flies there via Wellington. It is built upon tidal flats. The climate is warm and sunny much of the year. The region's economy is mostly horticultural and tourism. There are a great deal of attractions in all directions. The airport is quite close to town.
