Glentanner Description
Glentanner lies at the entrance to Hooker Valley 13 NM Southeast of Mount Cook village. The airport is hard up against a hillside in a natural ampitheatre of peaks up to 12,000 feet+.

During the late Seventies it enjoyed regular scheduled flights from Dash-7 airliners from Newmans Air, but since then has been relegated to mainly scenic helicopter operators and small fixed wing operations.

The main grass runway is 965 metres long and 15/33 orientation. There is a secondary 598m runway 02/20.
