Transporting Problems
The airport as such is good, but transfer between the airport and the city is difficult. If you do not wish to pay triple price to the taxi drivers, your only option is go on foot - it is between 5 and 8 km to the different part of city. I've heard, that a bus is going via nearby roundabout (1 km from terminal), but many aircrafts arrive in the middle of the night and in any case Beirout buses are known for their unreliability.
