I have been to many nations and many airports and Kuwait has by far the rudest staff and citizens. You have to ask 5-7 times for anyone to look at you and when they do they give you the wrong info or treat you like garbage (I noticed however if you are of middle eastern decent or Caucasian you were treated with respect but anyone of the Indian subcontinent was not). When the Kuwaiti people would walk by they would wave their hands so you would give them room to walk through. When you are in a line, the Kuwaiti people would not stand in line they would walk right past you and since the staff allows this when you try to object you get yelled at by the staff. Are you kidding me?! I have food poisoning during my 48 hour trip and because I was not Kuwaiti I was treated like a piece of garbage.

I haven't been to this airport in 14 years, and I must say, it has changed a lot. I was pleasantly surprised. The airport itself has changed, and for the better. It is bigger now, with more options for dining and shopping. It almost looks like a new airport. It would have gotten 5 stars, but the bathrooms...need work, and should be cleaner. Also, the Kuwaiti employees are mostly rude and lazy! If you need something, the Indians and Fillipinos are much friendlier and useful.

This airport has improved quite a bit over the last decade, while maintaining the qualities that were positive. It's always been clean, the service has been good (well, mostly the expat workers, the locals can be on the rude and lazy side), it's easy to get around, and information is easily accessible. Dining options have improved, and so has the duty free. No alcohol, but it's to be expected as the country itself is dry.

A nice, pleasant airport. Very clean and cool. Eating facilities are limited. Duty free shop was a big let down and NO Alcohol at all. Same on Kuwait Airlines NO Alcohol not even wine. Airport has plenty of info screens and everything is within easy reach. Staff, mostly Filipino, are very pleasant and helpful, not to mention very pretty, too. No problems here.

Small and nice airport but misused. At times it is very unpleasant, moving through the corridors overloaded with migrant workers. With flight delays, there is no adequate support provided to travellers. Baggage is not delivered at arrival ant the is not delivered to the address as it should. A good airport with bad management.
