Tel Aviv
A nice airport with good facilities, however security is exceptionally tight. It took me two hours to get checked in, what with all the security. So the day you leave give yourself a lot of time to check in.

Carry On Luggage Liquid Limit
When departing, note that the limit of liquid allowed in carry-ons is what fits in the small ziplock baggie we are familiar with in the U.S, as long as each individual item is less than 50 ml which is less than the US limit of 3 oz. This is not advertised as far as I can tell so there is no way to prepare. Who knows, maybe it's arbitrary. Also, you can't buy liquid after passing security and bring that on the plane if over 100 ml but that is well advertised.

First Class Airport
The new design makes life much easier - no more buses to take you from the departure lounge to the plane. The new look is very attractive and calming. Duty free is second to none - a great variety of products at decent prices. If I have to say anything negative - only one baby changing facility in the departures... a very long walk to the other side of the airport if you have selected the wrong toilets.

Ben Gurion Airport
Be prepared for a long walk when you disembark at any gate at Ben Gurion. If you have any problem walking, make advance arrangements. Be careful buying alcoholic beverages on your way out - you must have them delivered to you on the plane. If you carry them yourself, even if you are past security, they will take away all bottles. Otherwise, the airport is spacious, clean and worth strolling around it.
