DUB Airport
The earlier comments seem correct, but please note that they are now very old. DUB Airport added an extra terminal a couple of years ago and that has reduced the pressure on an airport that was bursting at the seams. Terminal 2 is state of the art and even has per-clearance with immigration to the USA.

Dublin Airport
On the 9th January 2007 i flew to dublin airport to enjoy a day trip as my crimbo present, I left from Stansted on time and I landed in Dublin on time, the landing was rough with turbulence just before touchdown and things didn't get better from there on in. The domestic gates are portacabin things and a long way from the terminal so for my mum who has a back problem it was quite hard, the arrivals are good with the security lady letting me and my brother go straight through after seeing Joe's passport. The arrivals hall though is cramped with a lot of pushing and shoving but car hire facilities are great. The departures are bad with only a limited number of shops and some signs being misleading but then came the walk to the gates, the airport is okay but would only come again if forced to.

Dublin Airport
This is a good airport. There are a couple of problems with it, though. The executive lounge is open to all buisness and first class passengers but the bad thing is that anyone can come in for 20 euros (10 euros for children) so it is crowded and there is often no place to sit but the lounge is ok. The jet bridges are fairly steep and hard to get up when disembarking but are easy to get down when boarding. There are not that many shops but there are some good ones.
