Runway Bishekola
Starting in 1974, I worked for 4 years with the Logistic Command of the Imperial Iranian Air Force as a leading engineer and was permitted to visit the holiday resort Bishekola. That time the level of the Caspian Sea was 28 m below zero. The runway was about four meters above the level of the Caspian. Fokker Friendships were the biggest planes to land and take off there.
