Dirty
There were BIRDS flying over our heads in the waiting room. Disgusting! The toilets were a Poopers Delight. We were stuck there for over 5 hours with seats full of bird poop.

One Of The Best In India
In my about a dozen visits to the airport, it has always been the same old welcoming airport. It has a very beautiful approach. The cleanliness, hospitality, services are straight A's. Refreshing, aesthetic with quick service and great infrastructure. What else do you need at an airport? Except for its size (which really doesn't matter), one of the better Indian airports, and mind you it is a very small list.

Neat And Clean
Srinagar Airport is newly renovated. I have been there for the third time now and it was always in a neat and clean state. It is, toilets included, very clean and has a lot of garbage bins. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is airy with a high ceiling and a lot of glass panes which allows the sun to shine in. The waiting lounge, overlooking the runaway, has tea stalls and food shops.

Poo Poo In Toilet Of Srinagar Airport
I think Srinagar Airport is very smelly and very dirty. I did not like the decor inside the airport. There were not many flowers or plants and there was not water fountain. I could not even locate a garbage bin. The toilets were so smelly and there was fresh poo poo floating in the toilet, so know one flush the toilet. shame shame.

Better Days Ahead
Srinagar Airport is small yet functional, at present it looks a little disorganised due to the construction work for the new terminal building which looks very promising.
No Aero Bridges or Buses to take you to the terminal building...The old world charm of deplaning and then walking to the terminal.
The current Arrival hall is very basic with once baggage carousel, a few seats, pre-paid taxi counter and a tourist information desk. Don't think the arrival hall would be getting much crowded as there are not many flights which land in Srinagar together.
The Departure area in the new terminal is modern and spacious with escalators, snack bars, gift shop, clean toilets and a nice waiting lounge on the first floor overlooking the tarmac and runway where you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee before boarding.
