La Esperanza, Honduras
The last time I visited La Esperanza was in 2003. Back then, the so-called “airport” was just a dirt strip, which was in such a shape that it was difficult, even for a car, to advance in a straight line or at a decent speed. From what I understand, the situation has not changed and this strip is not used. I guess that the “airport” would be accessible by helicopter, but not by plane. There are no airport facilities of any kind.
