Lovely But Bring Bug Spray!
The Guanaja airport is basically just a runway with a small municipal building that is usually locked. Do not expect rest-room facilities to be available although they are clean if the building is open.

The only way to get to or from the airport is by boat. Water taxis are usually available.

There is a small stand where you can buy beer or sodas.

When you arrive, your luggage will be loaded on a large cart and taken down to the dock for you. You will probably wait about 10-15 minutes while they get everyone's bags on the cart. Be prepared with some bug spray (7% deet by Cutters or OFF is fine).
