Although you can't land a plane at Wildenrath anymore, you could drive a train around it! Wildenrath is now the main rail test centre for Siemens tranportation. They test all the trains and trams that they build. have you viseted wildenrath recently? well i have today, you will have a bit of troule landing a plain there because it was shut down 4 years ago and now is barron land. it is great to go down there and mess about and there is a little pond there where i think is fish and i, as a doctor in cyprinids are yet to investigate it. if you would like any information on wildenrath air strip contact me.
