New Airport In Memmingen
The new airport (Allgaeu Airport) is certainly something exiting for the region. I live in Munich and rather use the Memmingen Airport, since the Munich Airport is just way too overcrowded, inconvenient and in general just a hassle to use with all the extra security measures.

Memmingen Airport actually has a feeling like a family airport: no long check-in lines, free parking(!) and since TUI Airlines started regualar services from there, it is really easy to get around Europe!

I absolutely recommend it over Munich and Stuttgart Airport.

I stationed here almost 30 years ago. I can't believe it's been made into a commercial airport. I loved the area and rode over 15,000 miles on bike in 1.5 years. What a beautiful place!
