I've been using HAJ for several years, and it's never given me any problems. There's recently been a refit, and the facilities are improved over what was already a perfectly acceptable airport. Catering isn't up too much inside the departure lounge as regards variety, so although the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good, if you want anything except a baguette and a beer/coffee you'll be out of luck. Best bet in this instance is to visit the "American Burger Bar" in the foyer before check-in. Quick, filling, tasty and very reasonably priced. The shopping area in Departures is quite small too, with just the usual drinks, ciggies and perfume really. But again, the staff are pleasant and the surroundings are clean and tidy. All in all, a very efficient operation that makes travel as painless as possible. Thanks HAJ!
