Finkenwerder Airport
The airport of Finkenwerder is the home airport of EADS Airbus Germany. The assembly of the A319 - 321 as well as the new A380 takes place here in Hamburg-Finkenwerder. To be able to take off and land at the airport the Town of Hamburg after many political disputes allowed Airbus to extend the runway to its new shape.
