Well Organised
From 2003 to 2008, I used DUS on average every two months, mostly for inter-European flights. The airport looks nice and very modern. The security standard, especially the fire safety, is now very high after a fire killed some people several years ago. The distances are not too long (compare to, say, Frankfurt) to walk, baggage handling is OK (never lost a single piece). Shopping and refreshments are expensive. The best option to get a drink and some food is at Mc Donald's which features standard city prices.
