La Rochelle, France
It's a tiny airport but it does the job. Very close to the town and to the coast, you get great views as you land and take off. The airport has a cafe, and there's a tourist information office just outside, and that's about it really. Very quiet, very relaxed. There's a bus stop about 50 metres from the exit where you can get a bus into the centre of town, or of course there are taxis.
