Small Airport In Development
This (International) airport is local and only has aircrafts for domestic flights (from and to Addis-ADD) once a week a flight is transit for Mekele airport. The runway is shared with the Ethiopian Airforce, who also are located on this airfield. The airport is in full development, currently the facilities are very poor. The airport is expanding to both left and right sides and has just finished with an expansion of Cargo facilities, a new Cold Store with CHS (ETV with 32 storage facilities) has been commissioned.
