Nantong Airport
Nantong is a small, single runway airport located approximately 20 km from the city center. All flights embark and disembark on the tarmac. Typically, there are a few taxis at the airport to pick up passengers, but do not count on them being there. Most people coming to Nantong have pre-arranged travel itineraries, and have someone meeting them at the airport. The highway into Nantong requires the payment of a toll, so taxis are typically not going to gamble on being able to pick up a fare unless they are delivering a passenger.
The airport has 4 flights daily to / from Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Wuhan. The airport is serviced by Air China, Southern China, Shenzhen Airlines and Sichuan Airlines.
Security at the airport is light. Airport facilities are minimal.
