JZH Airport
Very quiet and, considering that it is technically a military airport, quite laid back. However, they insisted on opening and examining checked in luggage for everyone except us! It is the second highest airport in China proper and the only one I've ever landed at without my ears popping. Some travellers claim altitude sickness symptoms at this altitude.

Jiu Zhai Huang Long Airport
I have recently been to the Jiu Zhai Huang Long Airport. I found the airport very good, new and modern and in a beautiful location. Everything went well for my husband and I. The return flights to and from this airport were good.

Airport Is Closed Until June 25, 2006
We have been notified on 4/29/2006 that JIU ZHAI HUANG LONG AIRPORT will be closed until june 25, 2006.

Jiu Zhai Huanglong Airport.
Jiu Zhai Huanglong Airport.
Very nice airport with friendly personell. Situated in the hillside at 3500m altitude on the border to Tibet. The closest airport to Songpan and the beautiful Jiuzhaigou valley national park.
